Sensei Ray is the head instructor for Piscataway Mixed Martial Arts. Ray brings over 20 years of martial arts experience to the dojo, including 15 years in Tae Kwon Do, and studies in Hapkido, Aikido, and Jujitsu. Ray became a member of the dojo in September 2002, joining the adult class to train in the style of Cuong-Nhu. By 2003, he volunteered to help with the chilren's class in order to assist Sensei George in achieving the goal of building a solid foundation for the dojo. With Sensei George's urging and support, Ray became head instructor for the children's class in 2005, and continues to introduce training techniques that challenge and reward the students. Ray has been certified through a background check by Kid Safe. |

Sensei George born in 1954, holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree black belt since 1995) in the Cuong Nhu Martial Arts Association. He studied under the late founder and Grandmaster of Cuong Nhu, O'sensei Ngo Dong, from 1986 to 1999. He has also studied under Grandmaster Ernie Cates, Master Danny Glover, and countless other instructors associated with Cuong Nhu. He was the first student to set foot in the "Shojin Cuong Nhu Karate" dojo in 1986. In 1994 he started the Piscataqua Dojo in Piscataway N.J. and was program director and head instructor until Jan. 2008. He is the primary liaison to Piscataway Dept. of Recreation and also certified by with an extensive background check by Kid Safe. |

Sensei Tracy, has been a member of Piscataway Dojo since 2006. Her martial arts experience is founded in the style of Tae Kwon Do, reaching the rank of Black Belt. Sensei Tracy has been assisting with the children's class since May 2007. Tracy is a Special Education Teacher in the North Plainfield School District. She holds a certification in Elementary Education and as a Teacher of the Deaf. Tracy is Highly-Qualified in Middle School Math and Science. She is also certified in canine behavior training. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing and quilting, and sews custom-made, monogrammed dog vests. |

Tju Makmur, (Mrs. M) is the mother of Mathew and Michael who are senior members of the children's class, and wife of Hanz Makmur. Tju (pronounced as Chu) is a resident of Piscataway with professional background in accounting. She is KidSafe certified, was an active volunteer at many of the township schools including Eisenhower, Knollwoood, and Martin Luther King. Mrs. M's organization skills are a welcome asset in our growing dojo. Mrs. M handles the co-ordination of new student registration, childrens attendance records, uniform records and other dojo related administrative activities. |
